Flexercise Certifications

We offer mind-body fitness certificates in two formats:
  • Format I – Affirmation and Meditation – This format emphasizes the philosophy of maintaining a strong mind, strong body, and strong spirit. We believe the body was created to move, and we invite everyone to experience the dynamics of the Flexercise method.
  • Format II – Faith-Based – This format emphasizes the philosophy that God created the body to move, and the body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. It aims to engage individuals who want to integrate fitness into their faith-based communities.
Both certification paths consist of five levels. You must complete the Standing Flexibility and Sitting Flexibility levels before testing for any other level of the Flexercise.

Format I – Affirmation and Meditation Certificate

Standing Flexibility – Level One – 500 Hours
We provide a certificate of completion that is valid for two years, after which the certification must be renewed. After completing 500 hours of Flexercise Standing Flexibility, you will qualify to sit for a teach-back of Standing Flexibility. You must show proficiency in Standing Flexibility to become a certified instructor.

  • Standing Flexibility
  • Breathing and Meditation
  • Virtual Flexercise Training Workshop
  • Invitation to Participate in Weekly Instructors’ Class

Additionally, you’ll gain membership in the National Association of Flexercise Instructors (NAFI)©. A Flexercise certification will be issued after you successfully show proficiency in teach-back and pass all written exams.
Sitting Flexibiity – Level Two – 300 Hours
After completing 300 hours of Flexercise Sitting Flexibility, you will qualify to sit for a teach-back of Sitting Flexibility. You must show proficiency in Sitting Flexibility to become a certified instructor.

  • Digital Download of the Sitting Flexibility Video
  • Invitation to Participate in Virtual Instructors’ Class
Power and Strengthening – Level Three – 200 Hours
After completing 200 hours of Flexercise Power and Strengthening, you will qualify to sit for a teach-back of Power and Strengthening. You must show proficiency in Power and Strengthening to become a Certified Instructor.
What You Will Receive Via Email
  • Digital Download of Power and Strengthening Video
  • Invitation to Participate in Instructors’ Class
A Flexercise certification will be issued after you successfully show proficiency in teach-back.
Power Bar – Level Four – 300 Hours
You will need to purchase a body bar or equivalent to master this training.
After completing 300 hours of Flexercise Power Bar, you will qualify to sit for a teach-back of Power Bar. You must show proficiency in Power Bar to become a certified instructor.

  • Digital Download of the Power Bar Video
  • Invitation to Participate in Instructors’ Class
A Flexercise certification will be issued after you successfully show proficiency in teach-back.
Core and Abs – Level Five – 300 Hours
After completing 300 hours of Flexercise Core and Abs, you will qualify to sit for a teach-back of Power Bar. You must show proficiency in Power Bar to become a certified instructor.

  • Digital Download of the Core and Abs Video
  • Invitation to Participate in Instructors’ Class
A Flexercise certification will be issued after you successfully show proficiency in teach-back.

A Flexercise certification will be issued after you successfully show proficiency in teach-back.
Power Bar – Level Four – 300 Hours
